Who We Are

GeroPsych Consultants Pte. Ltd. is a geropsychological knowledge enterprise in Singapore. Founded in August 2017, we aim to inform and train stakeholders, as well as create and share knowledge in geropsychology: the psychological aspects of ageing and caregiving of seniors.

Why bamboo as our logo?

Bamboo is a metaphor for adaption as it bends with the wind and does not break same goes with the work we do, we give the ageing the ability to adapt to what they are or might be facing in today’s society. Bamboo also symbolises resilience which in our case we will do all we can to give the elderly the ability to bounce back from the problems they are facing be it health issues or physical issues and so much more and provide the necessary skills to adapt to the changes that they are facing in their lives.

Why light green and white?

Green is the colour of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Green has great healing power. It is the most restful colour for the human eye; it can improve vision. Green suggests stability and endurance.

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. White means safety, purity, and cleanliness. white usually has a positive connotation. White can represent a successful beginning. In heraldry, white depicts faith and purity.

Kristine Schaan

Ms. Schaan has nearly ten years of experience in population health across a variety of healthcare settings. As a consultant, her areas of emphasis include health policy and market research as well as education and strategy development. Additionally, Ms. Schaan has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of social determinants of health and longevity as well as grant writing and program development. She holds her master’s degree in gerontology and B.S. in health care administration. Ms. Schaan is a credentialed professional gerontologist and licensed nursing home administrator.
